Are you selfish or do you love yourself?

Self-love is about being content with what you have, living a life that makes you happy, respecting your health, respecting the people you love, and living a life that makes you beautiful and healthy. Self-love makes you happier and doesn't hurt or harm others. It makes you healthier and happier. It means you learn to appreciate life in this world more.

So selfishness is……. Selfishness and self-love are not the same. Selfishness is a kind of egoism. To get only yourself…., to win only yourself, to enjoy yourself, to make your family comfortable, to get your name, to succeed, etc., we only focus on our own well-being and do not care if others are hurt or hurt. We do not mind trampling on others for our own well-being. “Whoever dies, I will die…” is the saying for selfish people.

In fact, selfishness is mainly focused on self-interest. Self-love is not about wanting to hurt anyone, but living life with the feeling that it is good to be alive. Selfishness harms the environment in some way. Because selfishness is often accompanied by egoism. In other words, people who are more egoistic than normal. When they are more egoistic than normal people, they think, “I should get it…, I should get it, I will win, it doesn't matter if others suffer, it's important that I don't suffer, it's their life... their business, it's important that I feel comfortable in my life." Such people have a mindset of "getting ahead of myself" even when getting on the bus, not even avoiding women or the elderly. Such small matters, such as "getting more profits for myself, whether others are healthy or not" in business, are the end, only for themselves.
Therefore, because a person is too selfish, his family, environment, community, and friends can be affected in one way or another. A selfish person will use others for his own benefit if he should. If he should step on a ladder, he will step on it. In his mind, there is no priority for anyone other than himself. In other words, he is a kind of human poison who always thinks only of himself and his own advantage and does not do anything good for the environment.

People who love themselves understand that life will always be full of difficulties and are happy in the midst of difficulties. They understand that living as happily as possible despite difficulties is a form of self-love. In addition, they will try to keep their minds clear and try to improve their lives in a healthy way. They will set their own rules. Setting their own rules is for the sake of their own development, and trying to improve their own life is a form of self-love. They understand that focusing on those who hate them is harmful to themselves, both mentally and physically, and they understand that they should focus on those who love them. Taking care of themselves with good things, living a happy life, being happy with the life they have, doing the things they want to be, and doing the things they love is a form of self-love.

They understand that living a difficult human life is more valuable and they also understand that living a human life while they have it is a form of self-love. They do not want to harm the environment because of them, and they do not want to be harmed by the environment. The lives of both types of people are similar, but those who live with self-love will see positive changes in their lives. In addition, they will be comfortable in social circles and relationships, and their mental health will also be positive.
Selfish people will never have peace and positive results in their social relationships and their own minds, even if they have high material possessions and living standards. They will always be burning with ego. They will not have true friends, and when they are in real trouble, no one will surround them.

In short, self-love is necessary to live a life that is difficult to live in order to be a human being. Selfishness not only affects the person concerned, but also everyone around them. It can be toxic. By nature, the ego is different, so we only have a little ego. However, being too egoistic is not good for ourselves or for the environment. Therefore, while we live in this short life, we should cultivate a sense of self-love. I urge you to not let your ego get any bigger than it needs to be, to reduce your ego as much as possible, and to correct your selfishness. #BAWA101
