"1) Don't dwell on the past and the future.
Don't dwell on everything that happened in the past. Don't imagine what will happen in the future. Both of those 2 types are free time to spend. What can be done now? Just think about what you can do best to heal your wounds. That's more beneficial.
2) Find out what you currently do best.
For that, find out what you can do to make the best of your current situation. Do your best when you know. It also unifies your focus on the past and the future. You don't lock your mind anymore. Focus on what needs to be done.
3) Do things that calm your mind.
Know what you can do to calm yourself down. Everyone is different. If I read some of them, I calmed down. If you are doing some crafts, you will calm down. Some plants are planted. Some meditate, Bead mind, etc. You need to do something that calms you down. Peace of mind frees the mind from things of the past. Thinking less about things that haven't happened yet.
4) Confide in someone you trust.
Don't feel your emotions alone. Confide in someone you trust. Do things that lighten your mind. laughing, watching jokes, Some kind of relaxing walk. I know myself when my mind is too busy. Don't take it as such. Open up to let your mind out.
5) Find your own lucky factors.
A person who closes his mind often sees his own bad things. That's why it makes me even more depressed. So try to find the lucky factors that you don't see in yourself. For example. Right now, I still have a comfortable living. I feel that I am luckier than those who are suffering more than me. I am still healthy, There are still people who are less healthy than me.
6) Think the opposite of your thoughts.
For example. I only have my mother. I don't have a father anymore. I can't be sad about not having a father... Some of them don't even have 2 parents anymore. I have a mother. I'm lucky.
7) Set small goals. Try to make it happen.
Another thing that will make your mind more organized is to set small rules for what you will do throughout the day. Encourage you to do it yourself. Try not to be what you decide to be. I set myself a time limit for what work to be done, and then complete it within that time frame. Doing so, while doing so, both other past matters. I'm thinking about what I'm going to do in the future (I'm talking about building a house in the air for free without setting any goals), but I've learned to use the present time well instead of doing nothing. Focus is only on finishing the work you are doing. It's like concentrating."
